Due to the high temperature of the Rhône river, production restrictions are likely to affect EDF’s nuclear production from Tuesday June 16 2026, and more particularly the Saint-Alban site. The forecast will be reviewed on day-ahead. If confirmed, the production restrictions will lead to a specific publication.

A la suite d'une contractualisation avec RTE, a mimina une tranche de Civaux, deux tranches de Blayais, une tranche de Golfech, deux tranches de Chinon, seront imposées en fonctionnement pour des contraintes réseau du 23/05/2026 0h au 20/06/2026 0h.

As of 10/06/2026, the reactors concerned are : BELLEVILLE 1, BLAYAIS 4, BUGEY 3, CATTENOM 3, CHINON 3, CIVAUX 2, FLAMANVILLE 1, GOLFECH 2, GRAVELINES 1, NOGENT 2, PENLY 1, PENLY 2, ST ALBAN 1, TRICASTIN 3.

Vu du 10/06/2026 le réacteur CHOOZ 2 aura besoin d’économiser environ 37 jours équivalents pleine puissance de combustible d’ici son prochain arrêt pour rechargement actuellement prévu le 21/08/2027. Ce volume sera économisé par baisses de puissance, services systèmes ou arrêts. Le volume pourra évoluer en cas de modification du planning des arrêts pour rechargement.

As of 10/06/2026, CHOOZ 2 unit will have to save about 37 days of full load operation before its next refueling outage, planned on 21/08/2027. This will be done through imposed load limitations, ancillary services or outages. The quantity of fuel to be saved may be readjusted in case of modification in the unit maintenance schedule.

Au 05/06/2026, EDF OA comptabilise une puissance installée flexible de 1973 MW pour la filière éolienne offshore, de 5022 MW pour la filière éolienne terrestre et de 2321 MW pour la filière photovoltaïque.

In accordance to the CRE deliberation 2026-68 published on March 31, 2026, the progressive ramp-up of flexible installed capacity ends on June 4, 2026, for delivery on June 5, 2026, with the target of 7.3 GW of flexible installed capacity reached for the onshore wind and photovoltaic facilities.
As of June 5, 2026, EDF OA records a flexible installed capacity of 1973 MW for offshore wind, 5022 MW for onshore wind, and 2321 MW for photovoltaic facilities.

In accordance to the CRE deliberation 2026-68 published on March 31, 2026 and following a software update completed on April 1,2026, EDF Obligation d'Achat (Code EIC 17Y100A100R0629X) changes its sales management on the Day-Ahead auction.
Effective June 4, 2026, for delivery on June 5, 2026, EDF OA will incorporate 7343 MW of flexible installed capacity from onshore wind and photovoltaic facilities. This flexibility will be offered at -0.11€/MWh and will be added to the existing flexibility of offshore wind farms under EDF OA.
